THE "COLD ROOM''
On large
ships, like the 80 meter yachts, the best refrigeration system is represented
by refrigerating and freezing "rooms" , also known as "cold
rooms": modern and innovative versions of the classic cabooses.
These
structures are designed and built on a customized basis, according to the customer’s
needs and according to the evaluation of the inner spaces of the vessel. The
structures are achievable with a volume of up to 10 cubic meters, to allow
storage of large quantities and varieties of food, essential for the vessels
used for accommodation and transport of many people, including crew and guests,
for long periods of time.
A
refrigerator for each caboose allows you to have everything you need always at
hand and well organized, thanks to the functional shelves and internal
divisions. Multiple refrigerators can be installed and maintained at different
temperatures, suitable for food preservation.
The cells
are made of stainless steel and designed to maintain their characteristics and
functionality even under high thermal stress as often happens in the rooms on
board.
